Description:

A mantra is a sequence of words or syllables chanted repetitively as part of Buddhist practice. One popular example is "om mani padme hum," commonly associated with Tibetan Buddhism.
The understanding of a mantra's function varies among different schools of Buddhism, but generally, chanting a mantra is believed to help achieve enlightenment and may be used as a form of meditation.
Various mantras are said to invoke different blessings to aid in worldly or spiritual pursuits, with the condition that they are practiced with a pure motivation.
